Do you ever feel like you're not good enough to be saved?   Do you find no rest in trying to be good enough? Do you struggle with the same temptations and fail? Did you know that this is Satan working overtime to discourage you? Too often, we focus on trying to be better when we just need to focus on Jesus.

“When the fullness of time was come, God sent his son,…to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.” Galatians 4:4,5.   God revealed the plan of salvation to Adam and Eve back in the Garden of Eden. That plan was for Jesus to redeem the world; not for man to figure out how to be perfect. It is the law that points out our sins and demands death as a consequence. It was Jesus that paid the price and fulfilled the requirements of the law. We simply need to accept Jesus' sacrifice. To accept means to believe. And this is why Satan works so hard to turn our focus inward, which will always lead to discouragement and frustration.

Satan alleged that God's government makes forgiveness impossible. God responded by sending his son to die for all or our sins.
